[7/1/2008] ViOptix Inc. announces the relocation of its corporate headquarters to 47224 Mission Falls Ct., Fremont, CA 94539.
The new facility provides enhanced operational efficiencies and will help ViOptix continue to grow and evolve to keep pace with our customers' needs. | JACK LLOYD JOINS VIOPTIX BOARD OF DIRECTORS |

[5/21/2008] ViOptix Inc. announced that Mr. Jack Lloyd has been elected to the Company's Board of Directors.
Mr. Lloyd has served as a founder, officer, and Director of medical and high technology companies since 1970. He was co-founder of Nellcor, the developer of Pulse Oximetry, and served as its first President and Chief Executive Officer from 1981-1990, during which time he grew the company from a start-up to annual sales of $150 million. Prior to his experience with Nellcor, from 1974 to 1981, Mr. Lloyd was founder and President of Humphrey Instruments, later acquired by Carl Zeiss. More recently, Mr. Lloyd served as Chairman and President of Aradigm Inc., a developer of aerosol drug delivery systems, from 1993 to 1997. He is also the founder and currently Chairman of Alere Medical Inc., a provider of disease management services utilizing electronic home monitoring, sold to Inverness Medical in 2007. ... Read More |

| VIOPTIX RAISES $12.2 MILLION IN SERIES D FINANCING |

[1/10/2008] ViOptix Inc. announced today that it has raised $12.2 million in a Series D round of financing. The round was led by Channel Medical Partners, a leading venture investor in emerging growth medical technology companies. This latest round of financing brings the total amount raised by the company, since its inception in 1999, to approximately $28.7 million.
In addition to Channel Medical Partners, other investors include Lincoln Funds International and existing investors Canadian Medical Discoveries Fund and Morningside Technology Ventures Limited. In conjunction with this financing, W. Gregory Shearer, Founder and Principal of Channel Medical Partners, will join the ViOptix Board of Directors.
